
Scott M. Williams
ABOUT
Scott M. Williams is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Lyon College. He earned a D.Phil. in (Medieval) Theology from the University of Oxford. His research interests include the history of (philosophical) Trinitarian theology, medieval philosophy of disability, the work of the medieval philosopher and theologian Henry of Ghent, personhood, and contemporary metaphysics of the Trinity.
Williams teaches a wide range of courses, including Ethics, Epistemology, Metaphysics, Philosophy of Disability, Philosophy of Gardens and Gardening, Philosophy of Religion, and the history of Philosophy in the Ancient and Medieval periods. He also teaches an Introductory course in Philosophy using the Philosophy-As-A-Way-of-Life pedagogy for which he was awarded a Mellon Grant in 2020.
